Join the Mountaintop and Schoharie Reservoir watershed community for The Hudson River Schools of Art and Their Ice Age Origins presentation by local geologists, Robert and Johanna Titus! This exciting talk will be offered as part of Schoharie Watershed Month's Flowing Impressions art show at The Main Street Community Center in Windham, NY on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
The art opening will begin at 1PM, with the Titus' presentation beginning at 2:30PM. Registration for the Titus' presentation is strongly encouraged, as seating is limited. The talk will be followed by music by Nick Spinetti.
The Flowing Impressions art show is being offered as part of Schoharie Watershed Month, and has been made possible through collaboration between Greene County Soil and Water Conservation District (GCSWCD), the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP), the Main Street Community Center in Windham, the Mountain Top Library in Tannersville, and the Windham Arts Alliance.
Flowing Impressions is an all-ages art show! Work created by local youth will be on display at the Mountain Top Library (6093 Main St. Tannersville, NY) and the opening event will coincide with the Mountaintop Earth Day Celebration (11AM - 1PM, Saturday, May 4th).
Schoharie Watershed Month events are offered free of charge by the Schoharie Reservoir Stream Management Program at GCSWCD, in partnership with the NYC DEP.
