We offer the following services/events:

Riding Lessons

All lessons are taught at Greystone Manor Therapeutic Riding Center by certified therapeutic riding instructors. Riders are assisted by a horse leader and two side walkers. As riders become more independent and confident, fewer assistants are necessary.

Riding sessions are 6 weeks long. Lessons are semi-private, private or group. Sessions begin in February and end in December.

Horsemanship Clinics

Horsemanship Clinics offer students an opportunity to learn more about horses in a hands-on setting. Clinics are two hours long and each clinic will have a specific goal such as horse attitude, horse-human team, horse anatomy, and more. All clinics will be led by one of our certified instructors. Please call for more information.

Annual Horse Show

Each fall Greystone Manor TRC holds its annual horse show. All riders who have participated in at least one session are eligible to ride. Each rider participates in a trail class and an equitation class. All riders earn ribbons. The horse show is the pinnacle of our year. A special thank you to all of our Horse Show sponsors who help to make the day such a huge success for everyone.

Heroes and Horses Program

This an experiential unmounted equine-assisted therapeutic program that uses the calming and nonjudgmental nature of horses to help participants to improve social awareness, increase self-respect, learn mindfulness strategies, manage vulnerability, and reduce anxiety in their everyday lives.

Silver Saddles

Silver Saddles is a 4-week program designed to allow participants to experience the incredible bond between humans and horses. The group caters specifically to individuals age 55+ looking to enhance physical, intellectual, and personal growth, as well as facilitate positive exercise including standing for periods of time and walking on uneven surfaces.
