About this event

Paralleling the lives of human and the monarch, The Guardians is a cinematic meditation on life, death, and the lengths we go to for the next generation.

The film will be preceded by a 20 min. presentation on monarch butterflies by Linda McBride of the Butterfly Society of Virginia, then followed by a group discussion led by Kimberly Bridges, Programming Librarian, Henrico County Public Library, based on a Discussion Guide provided by the filmmakers.

The film will be screened in the Meeting Room.

Capacity constraints may be in effect due to the coronavirus.

By registering you will receive a reminder email two days in advance of the event. We will also include you in our mailing list so that you can be informed about upcoming festival events.

Seating is first-come, first-served. Registering does not guarantee admission. A ticket is not needed to attend.

The mission of the RVA Environmental Film Festival is to increase awareness of environmental issues facing Richmond, VA, our region, and our planet.
