Licking/Knox Goodwill is proud to present Wild Camping Adventures as part of The Grove Academy program offered at The Grove by the River on Hollander Street in Newark, Ohio.

Take time to slow down and enjoy the great outdoors with a week of Wild Camping Adventures. Campers learn to pitch a tent, play field day games, sing camp songs, play outdoor games, and enjoy the great outdoors!

  • Early Drop Off: 7:30 am - 8:30 am
  • Drop Off: 8:30 am – 9:00 am
  • Activities: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Regular Pickup: 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
  • Late Pickup: 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm


Who Can Participate? Age 5 - 13


Lunch: Snacks and lunch will be offered during camp. Picky eaters or those with specific dietary needs should plan to pack a lunch with a cold pack.


  • Monday - Pancakes with Sausage Links
  • Tuesday - Chicken Drumstick with Mashed Potatoes
  • Wednesday - Taquitos with Nacho Chips
  • Thursday - Butter Noodles with Bread Stick
  • Friday - Hot Dog with Mac and Cheese

Supplies to Bring to Share as a Group (This helps us keep our camps FREE!):

  • One (1) - Roll of Paper Towels
  • One (1) - Pack of Clorox Wipes
