Poetry Speaks: Writing and Reading for Your Grief Journey

Poetry is a language unto itself. Often, poems express that which can otherwise feel unspeakable. In this workshop, poems capturing grief and loss will be shared as support to the grief journey. Participants will also engage in their own creative work utilizing poetry writing prompts.
Memories and Meals: Using Cooking Rituals and Recipes to Create Lasting Connections

Songs That Heal: Music Therapy for Grief and Loss

Music can help us cope and express how we feel when we have experienced the death of a loved one. Under the guidance of a board-certified music therapist, participants will have the opportunity to gain knowledge about the interconnection between grief and music therapy. They will engage in music therapy experiences for self-exploration of their own grief and identify how music therapy can facilitate positive coping.

In your grief, are you struggling with anxiety, sadness, detachment? This workshop utilizes drawing to support participants in processing parts of their grief.
