Get ready to face this epic endurance event with your mates! Will your team/gym come out on top?
Welcome to The Gauntlet!
This is a four-hour endurance event, and every hour follows the same brutal starting point.
Each hour begins with a 5K run.
Teams of Four- 2 Male & 2 Female
Once your team finishes the run, the work continues inside.
For the first three hours, teams will accumulate:
- Maximum distance on a machine — the machine will change every hour
- Maximum reps of deadlifts
Your goal is simple: accumulate as much work as possible for your team.
But strategy matters.
Not every team member has to run each hour.
However, your team will only score points for the athletes who actually complete the run.
There’s another catch.
If a team member doesn’t run, they cannot start accumulating distance or deadlift reps until at least one of their teammates has returned from the run.
So pacing, rotation, and teamwork will be critical.
Now let’s talk about the final hour.
Just like the others, it starts with a 5K run.
After that, teams will continue accumulating deadlifts…
But in the final hour, there’s one more challenge waiting for you.
That final piece will be announced on the day.
Four hours.
Runs.
Strength.
Strategy.
And a final test you won’t see coming.
