Lemar Ingram is an executive, entrepreneur, philosopher, and confessed hip-hop junkie. As a leader, he has learned to marry his love of music, street smarts, education, and professional and life experience into a book of practical business and life advice in an entertaining format that resonates with readers.
A hustler at heart, Lemar has always been artistic and creative. As a young man, his passion for music inspired him to study sound design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
However, disillusioned with the music industry and with a taste for the finer things, he reluctantly joined corporate America while using the often-underrated knowledge of hip-hop as a guide while staying true to his identity. Leveraging the profound lessons embedded within hip-hop, Lemar offers a fresh perspective on success and leadership in his book, "The G-Code: A Hip-Hop Connoisseur's Guide Through Corporate America."
Through captivating narratives and practical insights, he illuminates how principles championed by hip-hop icons like Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, and Nipsey Hussle can be applied to excel in professional environments. In bridging the gap between the streets and the boardroom, Lemar's work resonates with individuals from diverse backgrounds seeking to thrive in their careers. His participation in discussions on literature, culture, and entrepreneurship promises to enrich the dialogue, inspiring attendees with his compelling insights and empowering them to embrace their unique paths to success.
