The Future of Infrastructure and Transportation in the Commonwealth

Join the Edward M. Kennedy Institute and WGBH March 28th at 6:30 p.m. as we present a panel on the future of infrastructure and transportation in the Commonwealth. The panel will feature Frank DePaola, General Manager of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority; Stephanie Pollack, Massachusetts Secretary of Transportation; State Senator Thomas M. McGee, Co-Chairman of the Joint Transportation Committee and Richard A. Dimino, President and CEO of A Better City (ABC). The panel will discuss the most recent changes facing Massachusetts transportation, from the increased fares for the MBTA to the new legislation surrounding ride sharing services. WGBH Greater Boston host Jim Braude will moderate the discussion.

REGISTRATION & SEATING

Registration opens no earlier than 5:30 PM. Registration and doors close 15 minutes after the start of the program. Seats in the chamber are available on a first come, first served basis. Some seats have obstructed views. If needed, an overflow room will provide guests with a live stream of the program.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING

Directions are on the Institute's website and parking is available in the EMK Institute lot and JFK Presidential Library and Museum. The complimentary #2 Shuttle will run every 15-20 minutes until 8:30 PM and stop in front of the Institute and at the JFK/UMass MBTA Station on the red line.
