Celebrate Populus Seattle’s 1-year anniversary with favorite dishes, cocktails, live music, and playful surprises throughout the day.
Like the rings of a tree marking time and transformation, each year holds its own story. Our first year at Populus Seattle reflects one such ring, shaped by creativity and a deep connection to place. Over the past year, we’ve transformed the historic 1907 Westland Building into one of the first carbon-positive hotels in the United States, earned recognition as Best Hotel by Seattle Magazine, and received a Michelin Key, milestones that reflect our commitment to thoughtful design, sustainability, and community as we continue helping reimagine Seattle’s Pioneer Square RailSpur district.
To celebrate, we invite you into an evening that brings the spirit of our first year back to life. Taste your way through a collection of favorite first-year dishes and cocktails from Salt Harvest and Firn, then explore some of our most memorable spaces, reimagined for the evening with our Guest Services team from 6 to 8 PM. The experience continues with a minibar tasting moment, bracelet making with Blue Dot Beadwork, and a live DJ set from La Mala Noche at Firn.
As we celebrate the formation of our first ring, we’re also proud to introduce Puget Soundkeeper as the inaugural grantee of the Populus Stewardship Fund, an extension of our ongoing commitment to supporting environmentally focused organizations and the people and projects shaping a more thoughtful, regenerative future.
Come raise a glass with us to where we started — and everything still growing.
