The Fearless Open Heart: An Afternoon with Khandro Kunga Bhuma Rinpoche

On behalf of Khandro Ling and Tergar Madison we are pleased to host an enlightening afternoon with Rangjung Neljorma Khandro Tseringma Rinpoche (Khandro Kunga Bhuma Rinpoche) at the Frank Holt Center in Madison, WI.

If you would like to attend online you can register here.

“We must understand that whatever goodness we experience - all of our happiness - is due entirely to the kindness of others. We depend on them for everything. It’s a completely wrong, distorted view to grasp onto an identity and see ourselves (just one person!) as more important than these infinite other sentient beings. This self-grasping is the basis for attachment and aversion, which are the causes of suffering.”

-Khandro Kunga Bhuma Rinpoche

Khandro Tseringma Rinpoche teaches that the essence of life is to realize a kind heart toward all beings, grounded in a clear understanding of the world as it is. Her sole focus is helping others cultivate an unshakable commitment to wisdom and compassion. As she often says, if a meeting does not help people open their minds and hearts, it is simply a waste of time.

In this rare and precious visit to the United States, Rinpoche will illuminate how to navigate our complex and often polarized world by embodying both compassion and wisdom. Compassion without clarity can lead to burnout; wisdom without compassion can feel distant and uninspired. Together, they form a powerful path to peace both within ourselves and in our communities.

While Khandro Rimpoche is a Buddist teacher, this teaching has a universal message.
