The performance explores the idea of “the fall” as a foundational myth of White colonial thought.

On Thursday, April 2nd Corcuera will be performing THE FALL as part of her US tour in the IMStudio (Coram Library) from 5-7pm. Sign-ups will be available in advance for 40-minute slots. On Friday, April 3rd, Corcuera will also be leading a public workshop, titled “Bodies, artivist performance and public space” in the Dance Studio of Merrill Gym from 10am to noon.

Corcuera’s residence at Bates is co-sponsored by IMPACT21st and the Learning Associates Program. Bates Theater and Dance, Environmental Studies and Hispanic Studies are participating programs.
