Olumide has over 20 years of experience in financial accounting and planning, a career spanning financial accounting, treasury, corporate finance and private equity roles.
Olumide was previously the Chief Financial Officer at Lotus Capital, a leading Nigerian ethical investment firm. He started his career at the Commercial Banking Group of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc., and from there joined the Financial Control Unit of Asset & Resource Management Company Ltd. (now ARM Investment Managers).
Olumide is a partner at Sahel Capital and serves on the investment committee of FAFIN, a private equity fund. He serves on the Board of Directors of Dayntee Farms, Ladgroup Ltd, Polyfilm Packaging, L&Z Integrated Farms and Delightful Toyshop.
Olumide is a is a public speaker who is highly sought after for his financial management depth and skills. He was awarded the 2020 FATE Foundation Volunteer Advisor of the Year Award. He is the author of My Money Toolbox, an effective personal financial planning tool.
Olumide is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®️), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®️), and an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA). He has a B.Sc. Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University.
He lives in Lagos with his family.
