Having been inducted into the South Carolina Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame and most recently the South Carolina Beach Music Hall of Fame, The Embers are honored to carry the moniker of North Carolina’s Official Ambassadors of Music. This group has traveled the country and the world and has performed for every event imaginable from the highest dignitaries to the hottest backyard frat parties.

Your 2024 Annual Pass admits you to this event. Children 12 and under who are accompanied by parents or guardians are admitted free to Amphitheatre events covered by the annual pass. Note that this applies only to events at the Amphitheatre.

What time does the gate open?

Gates will open one hour prior to show time. There are three entrances located around the venue marked "PAY HERE." Exchange your ticket for an armband. Children 12 and under are admitted free for the 2024 summer series.

What are my parking options for the event?

Are food and drinks available?

The Dairy Center will be selling hot dogs, sandwiches, soft drinks, and concessions.

T hirsty Souls will provide beer and wine.

Coolers/picnic baskets are not permitted.

No alcoholic beverages may be brought from outside the campus.

Lawn chairs or picnic blankets are recommended.

What is the refund policy?

Ticket sales are non-refundable.

Are Pets Allowed?

Certified service animals are permitted. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained at all times.

What is the weather policy?

In the case of inclement weather, decisions to move the performance indoors will be made by the band no later than 5 p.m. on the day of the performance. It will be announced on the Blackmon Amphitheatre Facebook Page. Online ticket purchasers will receive notifications via email. If an event is relocated indoors, seating will be first-come, first-served due to limited capacity, and children 12 and under will require a ticket.

Are there public restrooms?

ADA-compliant public restrooms are located in the Art Center, 215 Rockford Street, Mount Airy NC 27030, and behind the amphitheater across from the Municipal Building.

Where is smoking permitted?

Smoking is only permitted in the parking areas.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Patrons with mobility issues should use the Municipal Building parking lot, 231 Spring Street, Mount Airy NC 27030. The restrooms behind the amphitheater and across from the Municipal Building are handicap accessible.
