The Elliot is transforming its ballroom into a 1950s diner & hosting a dance-a-thon to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association! Teams will compete from Noon to 8 PM on The Longest Day, June 20th. The team that follows the rules, remains standing, and earns the most points will be awarded a free event* at The Elliot!

To be eligible for the prizes, teams must meet all of the following criteria:

• Must be 18+
• All dancers must turn in an emergency contact form and a photo release waiver to participate.
• All participants that meet the criteria and remain standing on the dance floor at 8 PM, will have a chance to win. The grand prize will be awarded to the team or participant that earns the most points.

Team Criteria

• Be comprised of 2-6 people. All team members must be registered at check-in.
• 2 members of the team must be dancing (moving) and on the dance floor at all times. If a team fails to have 2 members on the dance floor, they will be disqualified immediately.
• Each team member will receive ONE “switch-out card” with registration. This card may be handed in one time at check-in to switch places with a teammate on the dance floor. Team members may purchase additional “switch-out cards” by making a $50 donation (on-site) at the check-in table.

The Longest Day® is the day with the most light – the summer solstice. On June 20, thousands of participants across the world will fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through a fundraising activity of their choice. Funds raised advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
