Directed by guest conductor Dr. Ryan Deignan, TPCP explores the ever-present human need for self-expression through word and song.

&quot;Music is a thread that connects us as human beings in ancient times and in the present moment.&quot; The Twin Ports Choral project offers Edie Hill&#x27;s The Wingbone of a Swan as the centerpiece of this midwinter concert. With additional works both historic and modern, traditional and popular, our program expands on Ms. Hill&#x27;s statement, exploring the ever-present human need for self-expression through word and song. Including selections by de Wert, Brahms, Hensel, Edenroth, Soila, Dunphy, Moody, and Paulus, as well as a new commissioned arrangement by James Deignan of The Poet by indie bluegrass band Arcadian Wild. Featuring Paula Gudmundson (flute), Byron Klimek (cello), Henry Eichman (percussion), Nicholas Klee (mandolin), and Tom Maloney (guitar)/Brandy Forsman (fiddle) of 4 Mile Portage.
