8 weekly meetings to introduce and practice the Firetender's tenets of a strong brotherhood.

FireTenders 8-Week Elemental Training:The men&#x27;s &quot;Elemental Training&quot; will meet weekly for 8 weeks, every Thursday, from October 22 to December 17 from 6p-8:30p PT ( WE WILL SKIP NOV 26TH FOR THE HOLIDAY)We will introduce and begin to practice living the Firetender&#x27;s 8 Elemental Tenets. By embodying these tenets, we will build a strong brotherhood and more authentic way to experience men&#x27;s work. These tenets serve as guidance for personal growth, leadership, and the foundation for an ongoing FireTenders Men&#x27;s Circle.This virtual, embodied leadership training will ONLY be made available for 12 men who are interested in being part of a new or existing, on-going, virtual FireTenders men&#x27;s circle. It will be led by FireTenders Leadership Team: Timothy Tillman, Jordan Santoni and Damian Gallagher Who you will be(come):Got relational challenges in life? Good, bring them with you→ You will be challenged here. Curious how much connection is available for you to experience in your life? Good, bring your whole heart with you→ You will be loved here. Wish you had more opportunities to be seen as who you really are? We know that feeling, open yourself up→ You will be seen here. You will experience new ways to challenge yourself, love yourself and hold yourself. You will be productively uncomfortable at times.You will be trained in how to create, facilitate and run experiential journeys and group embodied work. You will be prepared to lead and hold a powerful, safe container. What this will be: Intensive, engaging and highly participatory-- this is NOT a sit-n-get experience. You will come to love the parts of yourself that have always been punished. You will meet yourself with a new level of self-understanding and inner-strength. You will learn to embody freedom, connection and purpose completely differently. We believe that freedom isn’t about being free from your stressful world when you go on vacation next year or retire from your job someday. We believe that freedom is a practice of being free with circumstances, responsible for your power, and understanding of your emotional and somatic bodies.You will be trained in observing your interpretations and to more quickly be able to align with “what’s so”. You will strengthen your listening muscles to bring an unconditional, positive regard and empowered listening of yourself and other men, no matter what. You’ll come to understand what it means to own your feelings.You’ll be able to drop attachment to results and replace that with a heart-centered, mission-driven commitment to what’s most important to you.You will sharpen your facilitation and leadership skills and you will be outfitted with new tools to support you in holding a safe and powerful container.You’ll be prepared to create or join a FireTenders men’s group. The leaders deliberately provide a diverse palate of embodied leadership styles. In this way, we aim to connect you with your own, unique genius and leadership gifts to bring to the group. We will support you to integrate new and unique style for your ongoing group in the future. In the words of Bruce Lee, “Absorb what is useful, discard what is not. Add what is uniquely your own”. When, Where and How we meet: *We will be meeting from 6p-8:30p every Thursday (EXCEPT THANKSGIVING DAY NOV 26) on Zoom (link provided upon registration)Oct 22: Spaciousness (Timothy or Damian)Oct 29: Embodied Presence (Timothy or Jordan)Nov 5: Integrity (Jordan)Nov 12: Sensitivity (Damian)Nov 19: Inclusivity (Damian)Nov 26: NO MEETING (Thanksgiving Day) Dec 3: FIRE (Timothy or Jordan)Dec 10: Creativity &amp; Leadership (Damian)Dec 17: Generosity (Timothy or Jordan)BE ON TIME: We start the group meditation at 6:01p and we want to hold a safe container for the space. Please honor yourself and the group by always giving buffer-time to comfortably arrive on-time. I invite you to consider that preparing yourself to show up powerfully is your first meditation of the evening… even if it’s a “in-traffic, driving home meditation” your evening session really begins when you choose to show up powerfully for yourself. **AS ALWAYS: If you cannot keep your word by arriving on-time, please honor your word and take responsibility by sending a simple message to the group Voxer with your ETA, and do this BEFORE 6p.***Men will need to attend at least 6 out of the 8 evenings in this series to be eligible to become a FireTender and join or create a new FireTender group. After the initial 8-week series, the group will meet regularly (weekly or bi-weekly) as an autonomous, “leader-ful” Fire Tender’s group. As is customary, the existing FireTenders will hold an initiation ceremony evening to welcome the new group into the whole (ideally in person in Santa Barbara). We will discuss other membership logistics on the first and last evenings of the series. Meetings are Thursdays from 6-8:30pm on Zoom from October 22nd - December 17th (WE WILL NOT MEET NOV. 26th). Please attend all meetings. A minimum participation in 6 of the 8 sessions is necessary to be able to join an on-going, exclusive men&#x27;s circle. * Scholarships are available for those with financial need.
