About this event

Hello :)

Please join me for a bookish evening of discussion and delight to mark two amazing years of my podcast, The Diverse Bookshelf.

On the podcast over the last two years, I have had the pleasure of interviewig over 60 incredible authors, helping to showcase literature that deserves more attention and to talk about some really important issues. In each episode, in conversation with the author, I break down some huge themes and issues, exploring some big questions about the world, current affairs, society, life, philosophy, literature, publishing, race, gender, and so much more.

Join me for a live and vibrant conversation about literature, representation and identity, and to mark and honour the work we are doing together to diversify literaure and publishing, and having conversations that really matter, especially now.

There will be live poetry performances during the evening, and a charity raffle for Gaza. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians.

The venue is a short walk from Luton Interchange (ThamesLink train + coach) and has many car parking options nearby.

Food and drink provided :)
