The Dignity Project Screening 

The Kota Alliance is an umbrella organization elevating collaboration across borders for women-centered nonprofits, social enterprises and entrepreneurs.  We offer a hub where women can gather for community events and programs provided in collaboration with our local partners. By sharing ideas, networking, advocating, and working together, we advance gender equity and promote women’s empowerment, both locally and globally. In West Harlem, we focus on the needs of women and girls in the local community, and offer programs in digital and financial literacy, healing arts, and health and wellness.

The Kota Alliance

<P>The Dignity Project is a digital storytelling project for teenagers to learn about media and video making and editing. Our students have been working very hard on their projects and they are excited to share them with a public audience. All are welcome to attend this free event to experience the media skills of New York's up and coming generation as they use the skills they learned this summer to empower one another. </P>
