The Design Project prepares designers to design with code and they are sharing their process this fall at the coveted CCA.

The Design Project Hackathon


Join us in person hackathon event at the California College of the Arts (CCA) on November 14, 2026 at 5:00 PM (Pacific Time) for a tangible workshop to learn how to "design with code".

This event will be led by Dianne Alter, Co-founder of The Design Project. She will do a deep dive into the creative process and learn how to craft powerful, engaging designs using AI.

Hosted by the California College of the Arts Design Strategy MBA Program, this hackathon is a great chance to connect and create.


Tools we'll use:

  • Claude Code
  • Cursor (AI-powered code editor)
  • Figma MCP (connects your designs to AI)
  • GitHub (to ship your code)
