The event will explore the opportunity to power the South-West economy on the back of decarbonisation of the region. It will cover:
- the central pillars of an economic development ‘greenprint’ to enable the region’s economy to take full advantage of decarbonisation;
- financing the region’s decarbonisation revolution;
- establishing the South-West as the hot bed for environmental technology innovations;
- the primary policies needed to support the growth of a low carbon economy in the region;
- removing the barriers that have the potential to stand in the way of a high performing decarbonisation-powered economy so that future growth opportunities can be maximised;
- the skills and local supply chains that need to be established to support the progress of decarbonisation and therefore the South West economy.
