This talk gives an overview of the Crystal programming language, and is intended for programmers with any background.

<p>Crystal is a really exciting language: High-level yet very performant, excellent ergonomics for my taste, object-oriented, batteries included, compiles to native code, typed with sophisticated type-inference, a powerful macro system, neat C DSL to easily interface with C, ….</p><p>This talk gives an overview of the language, and is intended for programmers with any background.</p>

<h2>Speaker Bio</h2><p>Xavier Noria is a member of the Ruby on Rails core team and author of Zeitwerk.
