Event description
An info session to support teaching artists and arts organizations applying to The Creative Advantage Arts Partner Roster in 2020.

About this Event

The Creative Advantage is a city-wide initiative to establish equitable access to arts learning for every Seattle Public Schools student. It is a coordinated network that includes the district, the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, Seattle Foundation, and more than 100 community arts partners.

The Community Arts Partner Roster is a vetted list of teaching artists and community arts and culture organizations approved to work in Seattle Public Schools.

The Roster Application will be open to individual teaching artists, community arts organizations, and cultural institutions with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience from February 3 – March 11, 2020.

Review the Roster Call for guidelines and detailed information on applying as a provider of student arts residencies, and/or as a provider of teacher professional development.

This information session is a time to learn from current Roster partners and Creative Advantage administrators about the application process, walk through online components and ask clarifying questions over tasty snacks!

This event is located at ARTS @ King St. Station. Enter the building from the King or Jackson St. entrances and take the elevator or stairs to the 3rd floor.

PARKING can be tricky, but there are 2 hour meters on the King St / Amtrak side of the building and in the International District. The cheapest lot is on Jackson St under I5 but you will need cash. $6 for 2 hours or $10 for the day.

If you have any issues or questions contact Tina LaPadula @ Tina's email or call or text 206-214-7003
