Join us at The Compton Rodeo for a night of western culture, music, dancing, performances and more!
Compton has always had cowboys. Now it's time to celebrate them!
Join the Compton Museum for a one-of-a-kind summer night honoring the western and equestrian heritage of the Black and Latino cowboy community.
There will be line dancing with JT & Shakeema Prescott the instructor, a live banda and performace from El Compa Negro, food vendors like City Grind BBQ and House of Wings. Love Peace & Spades will be running card games all night and Mr Brand New will be have a mechanical bull.
There will also be a live equestrian experience and mini museum exhibition with real artifacts and photos showing our rich history. Every ticket you buy is a brick in the wall of Compton's future. All proceeds go directly toward expanding the first and only art and history museum in Compton into a bigger, bolder home for the community.
Pull up in your best western wear, bring your crew, and let's build something together.
