OrthoBanc

At last, a complete training and networking workshop for doctors and team members who are part of the orthodontic insurance process. OrthoBanc is pleased to sponsor a full day symposium being presented by Ms. Tina Byrne, Industry Consultant and Orthodontic Insurance Expert.
Insurance benefits will continue to play a major role in the enrollment of new patients and the acceptance of treatment in our offices. The success of plan participation, acceptance of benefit assignment, claim submission and follow-up is, simply put, a result of team training, on-going education, and aligning your means, methods, and mindsets! Yet, many practices struggle to stay informed of the trends and changes affecting benefits. As a result, they find it difficult to stay “on top” of their system for insurance.
If you ask yourself any of the following, this workshop is for you and your team:
<OL>
<LI>
       Should we be considering plan participation?
</LI>
<LI>
       Does our team have current knowledge of insurance industry trends for benefit plans – limitations, exclusions, coordination, transition of care, coding and submissions?
</LI>
<LI>
       Is our office needlessly discounting treatment by not unbundling our fees to take advantage of allowed codes and charges for in-network plans?
</LI>
<LI>
       Are pre-credited benefits contributing to our account delinquency?
</LI>
<LI>
       Has insurance in any way become burdensome for our team?
</LI>
</OL>
Mastering YOUR Plan presents tools, concepts, and a system which facilitates a workable and rewarding approach to insurance for both the practice and patient. An effective, all-encompassing insurance system to efficiently manage the “Six P’s” – plans, participation, policy, preparation, process, and punctuality.
Spend a day with our industry’s leading insurance speaker/trainer and gain invaluable insight by networking with hundreds of insurance coordinators in other orthodontic practices. To be even more on target to the needs of attendees, a pre-workshop questionnaire will allow you to submit questions and situations for consideration and inclusion into the agenda. So prepare your office fee schedule, in-network fee schedules, and existing office materials to have a WOW day of learning and development.

“Insurance can be a tricky piece of running an orthodontic office.  We routinely see practices that accept assignment with 70% or more of their patients having an insurance benefit. This roughly translates to over 200 thousand dollars per million dollars in collections flowing through the insurance coordinators desk. We always recommend Tina Byrne for help improving the insurance handling process. Simply put, she’s the best in class in this area of practice management. “
