Continuous Community: The Collage Circle is a hands-on collage and paper-craft experience for reflection, creativity, and connection.
Join us for Continuous Community: The Collage Circle, a creative gathering rooted in reflection, hands-on making, and community connection.
We’ll begin with a short guided reflection, then move into an intuitive collage experience using paper, images, color, texture, and found materials. From there, we’ll transform the finished collage work into a handmade paper ornament using circles, folds, string, and beads.
No art experience is needed. This is not about making something perfect, because honestly, perfection has already ruined enough perfectly good afternoons. This is about slowing down, working with your hands, noticing what emerges, and creating alongside others in a warm, welcoming space.
You’ll leave with a handmade piece that reflects your creativity, the energy of the room, and the beauty of making something in community.
The event will be hosted on the back patio at Juniper Botanical Bar, a queer-centered space in Tacoma.
