Barista Magazine is proud to present The Coffeewoman, an event designed to celebrate and inspire women in coffee. Generously hosted by Bay Area CoRoasters in Berkeley, and proudly supported by Pacific Barista Series, this event welcomes anyone and everyone from the Bay Area coffee community who would like to promote inclusiveness, education, and awareness throughout the coffee industry.
HIGHLIGHTS: • Keynote address by Helen Russell Equator Coffees & Teas • Panel discussions on intersectionality and career planning with women leaders in the local specialty-coffee community • Food catered by Bartavelle Coffee & Wine in Berkeley • $5 donation at the door suggested; all proceeds go to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund
