The CODE BLACK Tech Gala

Our Collective is a community of diverse professionals partnering to influence a more diverse and inclusive pipeline and workforce. We achieve this goal with two tracks: Company Collaboration and Individual Collaboration. Together, we recognize, empower, and mobilize our communities of color.​

The Coalition of Black Excellence Week, in collaboration with <A HREF="http://www.ourcollective.us/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Our Collective</A> presents The CODE BLACK Tech Gala.
CODE BLACK is the culminating formal event for the Coalition of Black Excellence Week. Tech companies across the Bay Area are coming together to honor individuals and nonprofit organizations making a difference in communities of color. All proceeds from the event will go to designated nonprofits. This non-traditional gala will include heavy hors-d'oeuvres featuring cuisine from across the diaspora and a bar of signature cocktails, wine and beer. You must be age 21 and older to attend.
Attire: Black Tie Optional
BET’s own Jeff Johnson will be the Master of Ceremony and will assist with honoring the Inaugural Award Recipients: Morgan DeBaun with the Tech Innovation Award, Fam1st Family Foundation with the Community Champion Award, Monique Woodard with the Impact Investor Award, and BUILD with the Nonprofit of the Year Award.
A special guest performance by GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and Maroon 5 keyboardist PJ Morton will make this a night you will not forget!
