The Center for Politics thought – provoking and timely political analysis and our pragmatic civic education programs have formed the core of our activities throughout the past decade.The Center is a part of the National Campaign for Political & Civic Engagement, a consortium of 20 universities and colleges with academic programs in politics. Its priorities, directed towards college students are to establish:A relationship with electoral politicsA foundation in civic educationA focus on career developmentThe Center addresses these priorities through activities and programs such as our student Voter Registration Coalition, our internship program, an annual career panel, and the Youth Leadership Initiative.

Join Larry J. Sabato and his guest, Harry Gottlieb, founder of Unify America, a nonpartisan grassroots organization focused on bringing Americans, from all walks of life, together over shared goals for our country.They will discuss how this new platform works so you can join in the Unify Challenge. You will also learn about the future goals of Mr. Gottlieb and how the Unify Challenge is only the first step in helping to lower the temperature of our country and show politicians how American citizens are able to solve the problems that have proven too challenging for Congress. Feel free to submit questions for Mr. Gottlieb for the show at gac4t@virginia.eduThis series is in partnership with Unify America
