The Chosen is a crowd-funded televised multi-season series that tells the life of Jesus and his Apostles. We will watch and discuss one episode per week.

The series title, The Chosen, refers to multiple things including Israel being God’s chosen nation, the Apostle’s being Jesus’ chosen followers, and all of us - to all those who respond to the calling of the Messiah who extended His invitation to all people in fulfillment of the prophecies and God’s Promise.

Being chosen by Jesus has beautiful and far-reaching implications. We are loved because He is love. We are saved because He is merciful. We belong to the family of God because Jesus invites us, making the Bible and all its promises as true for us today as it was for God’s chosen nation.

Season 1 focused on "What Does It Mean to Be Chosen?"

Season 2 focused on "Blessed Are The Chosen"

Season 3 focused on "Discover What it Means to Belong to and be Blessed by God"

In Season 4 of The Chosen, the focus includes “Clashing kingdoms. Rival rulers. The enemies of Jesus close in while His followers struggle to keep up, leaving him to carry the burden alone. Creator Dallas Jenkins explains, “Jesus is a little weary and heavy laden and Jesus needs rest, and he’s not getting it from the people around him, including his closest friends.”
