About this event

Watch each episode at your convenience PRIOR to our group meeting. We will start with S1,E1. You can watch this show for free on "The Chosen" app, on Netflix, Prime, CW, etc.

In preparation for the release of Season 4 of The Chosen, we will dive deeper into Scripture via the 24 episodes of Seasons 1-3 of this inspirational series by discussing one episode per week thereby connecting group participants to the Bible in a brand-new way.

Being chosen by Jesus has beautiful and far-reaching implications—although it says even more about the Chooser than those who are chosen. We are loved because He is love. We are saved because He is merciful. We belong to the family of God because Jesus invites us, making the Bible and all its promises as true for us today as it was for God’s chosen nation.

Season 1 Scripture Discussion - What Does It Mean to Be Chosen? We will take a deeper look at Isaiah 43 and its fulfillment in Jesus and the lives of His followers (including us!)

Season 2 Scripture Discussion - Blessed Are The Chosen We will take deeper look at God’s character, power, and promises using the framework of Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount.

Once we belong to Him, we’re not only given a new identity, we’re ushered into a new reality – a reality that is sure, powerful, and life-changing.

Season 3 Scripture Discussion - Discover What it Means to Belong to and be Blessed by God. We all have to choose: the wide road that leads to destruction OR the narrow path that leads to life. The third season of The Chosen picks up with how Jesus’ followers apply His teaching to their lives.

St. George’s Anglican Church follows the teachings of Jesus Christ and celebrates historic Christianity in the Anglican tradition. Our beliefs are based on the Bible and the time-honored creeds of the Church. We uphold family values and New Testament morality and use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer for our worship services.
