2-day basic training equipping chaplains to support law enforcement & first responders in crisis. Includes certification.

Join us for the Chaplain Programs Basic Training Course, a two-day, hands-on training designed to equip law enforcement and first responder chaplains with the skills needed to serve effectively in times of crisis.

Hosted by The Chaplain Programs and Resilient Minds, this course is a vital part of academy-level training focused on supporting police departments, sheriff’s offices, and emergency personnel.

Participants will receive practical instruction in:

  • Crisis response and critical incident support
  • Managing stress and trauma
  • Domestic violence and family dynamics
  • Officer injury, death, and ceremonial protocols
  • Ethics, confidentiality, and chaplain responsibilities
  • Suicide awareness and death notification

This training is ideal for current or prospective chaplains, as well as those serving in support roles within law enforcement or first responder agencies.
