Opera Upper West presents The Cell: La voix humaine/The Telephone in which the operas of Poulenc and Menotti are re-told in a contemporary world: Two women enter the cell to meet their lovers only to become irrevocably imprisoned in the psychological and technological space they inhabit.

NYOA works in partnership with Opera America, the national service organization for opera and the nation's leading advocate for American Opera.
