Accompanied by Jerry Barry and other special guests, Carmine takes you on a musical journey of songs you know and love, as well as insights on being “from away” , his New York beginnings, and other ruminations.
And, in the piano bar tradition, audience participation is always welcome, and there will be an extra mic (just in case!) This will be an evening they’ll be talking about for at least 5 minutes after the show ends!
About Carmine: Carmine Terracciano was born in Long Island, New York, drove a cab in NYC in the 80s, and moved to Maine over 30 years ago to raise a family of 3 children with his wife Kerrie. He was in The Tony Boffa Band for 15 years before running his own band, The Carmine Band, and continues to play in southern Maine whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Jerry has performed professionally as a drummer and freelance musician throughout his life, most recently as a full-time member of The Carmine Band. He is a founding member of the contemporary jazz group “Raccoon Beach”, whose self-titled debut recording received nationwide distribution and airplay. Concert highlights of “Raccoon Beach'' included performances at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City and The Newport Jazz Festival in Saratoga NY.
