The Capacity Experience

The Capacity Experience

The Westin Raleigh-Durham AirportRaleigh, NC
Overview

A 2-day therapist-led nervous system recalibtration retreat for women who are ready to stop burnout & start living from a regulated body.

Expand with us at The Capacity Experience!

Get ready for an unforgettable in-person event where you'll use your Capacity Archetypes™️ to map out clearly:

  • Where you over-function.
  • Where you shut down.
  • Where you carry what isn't yours.

Not just what you do, but what it feels like in your body. And you'll stay with it long enough to break the pattern.

This is the work.

This process was built by therapists Sarah Madras and Cassandra Pickett. From years of practice in their own lives and helping others in their professional lives. Developed from witnessing the exact places people get stuck, why they get stuck, and how to break free.

Because understanding has never been the problem. What's been missing is a way to change what happens in the moment.

The work is:

  • Honest
  • Active
  • And sometimes uncomfortable, yet in the way that actually changes something.

Every activity, every exercise, every healing moment, every detail is happening in real time for real results that work for YOU.

Not general. Not theoretical. Yours!

Why this works when other things haven't...

Inside The Capacity Experience, you don't just talk about your patterns, you experience them. The exact moments where you normally:

  • Say yes when you mean no.
  • Shut down, go blank, or disconnect
  • Overthink, over-explain, or over-function
  • Take on what isn't yours.
  • Feel the urge to fix, prove, or disappear

And instead of pushing past it..... You're supported, in real time, to stay in your body, recognize the pattern as it's happening, and learn how to respond differently in that exact moment.

Not perfectly. Not all at once. But enough to feel the shift happen in real time.

That's where the pattern breaks. That's where the healing happens.

That's the difference.

If the problem is happening in real time, the solution has to happen there too.

  • Not reflection. Real time interruption
  • Not insight. Embodied repatterning
  • Not awareness. New response under pressure

This is about changing it while it is happening.

This is the kind of work people circle for years.

Compacted into one immersive weekend where it actually shifts.

Agenda

-

Friday, Sept 18th: Arrival + Settling In + Opening Ceremony

Arrival + Settling In + Opening Ceremony It's the year of the fire horse and nothing brings people together more than sharing a meal together. So it's only fitting to start out with dinner together next door at Il Falo Wood Fired Kitchen. We will begin our retreat activities at dinner so you don't want to miss out. Dress code casual. A chance to land, arrive into the space, and meet other capacity experience participants. Evening opening ceremony on the rooftop to follow dinner. Meals not included in retreat fee.

Saturday, Sept 19th: Full Immersion Day

Full Immersion Day Where the work happens. You’ll move through guided experiences that bring your patterns into the room while they’re happening. You’ll see what you do. Feel it in real time. And begin responding differently. Lunch breaks are "working lunches" meaning you will be given a specific activity to complete during your long lunch break. Planned breaks & meals on your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks and water bottle.

-

Sunday, Sept 20th: Experiential Activities + Integration + Closing Ceremony

Experiential Activities Continue + Integration + Closing Ceremony We continue to build on how you are expanding and healing. As we move through the afternoon, this is where it integrates. Not as an idea, but as something you’ve already experienced. You'll leave with new embodiments of your recalibrated nervous system and practical takeaways to bring this work back into your daily life. Lunch breaks are "working lunches" meaning you will be given a specific activity to complete during your long lunch break. Planned breaks & meals on your own.
