After a string of spectacularly sexy rock n’ roll Thursdays in our 2023 A.D. lap around the sun, the legendary Boom Box crew is now setting their sights on the electric neon lights of Silk City in 2024 — the Year of the Mamba; Twenty Dirty Double Dozen; A Year for City Lovin’ full of Art, Music and Community; and we’re bringing all of that to you in full flippin' frickin' force on Thursday, June 6th where we'll be dancing and jamming the night away at the one and only Silk City for The Boom Box Vol. 6.
This one-of-a-kind concierto is a magical collision of music driven by the spirit of rock n’ roll with a new soul. It's fueled by good energy, delicious (and discounted) Bacardi cocktails, DJ dance mixes, and the ridiculously talented musical community of the Greater Philadelphia Area, and it’s brought to you by The City Root, a local Rolling Stone-esque platform.
If you know, then oooooh my friend, you already muddafuzzin know that is going to be something of epic proportion. Socks will be rocked, faces will melt, and babies will be made.
The Boom Box crew doesn’t expect to make a dime, nickel or penny on this event, but they couldn’t care less. Because one great rock n’ roll show can change the world.
