The Boob Ride is funding the cure for breast cancer - 1 mile at a time.
The Boob Ride Orange County starts at the Irvine Transportation Center and finishes in Solana Beach. We transport your bike back to Irvine and you take Amtrak home. You can drop off a bag with a change of clothes at the Irvine station and we will transport it to the finish for you.
The route options are:
Very Important: Camp Pendleton has a policy that requires all cyclist to be pre-authorized to ride through the base. You must be registered with The Boob Ride by 4/7/17 and we will get you authorized to ride through the base. Camp Pendleton requires that we provide your driver's license number and state as part of this information.
- A-Cup, a 30 mile route that is mostly coastal, flat and scenic. This group of riders will be transported with their bikes to Las Pulgas and ride the most scenic 30 miles of the ride to the finish. Click here for the route.
- B-Cup, this is a route for those that want to support the cause and/or start with their firiends and turn around returning to Irvine whenever they feel like it. This is a U-turn route option so you can ride with your friends and turn around any where you want to. Click here for the suggested route.
- C-Cup, a 60 mile route that goes south through Camp Pendleton, meets the northbound San Diego riders, and then finishes in Solana Beach. Click here for the route.
- D-Cup, a 90 mile route that also goes through the base, and continues through the Elfin Forest and Ranch Sante Fe. This is a challenging and hilly, but scenic course. Click here for the route.

The post ride party, raffle, and awards ceremony is at the Tidewater Tavern in Solana Beach. Please bring money for lunch and raffle tickets.
The Boob Ride Orange County is a FUN 4 GOOD event, a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit. 100% of particpants' fees go to breast cancer charities. Please help recruit sponsors to cover the other minor costs.

Q: Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Minors 15 or older can ride in the event but must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the ride.
Q: What can/can't I bring to the event?
Please bring your ID, helmet, a bag with a change of clothes and shoes, and money for food and raffle tickets for the post-party.
Q: Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, please bring your paper ticket to the registration table at the event.
Q: Is lunch or the return Amtrak ticket included in the registration?
No, participants must buy their own lunch and Amtrak ticket home. This is to keep the registration costs and the operational costs low.
Q: May I take an earlier or later train back to Irvine?
Yes. However, you must coordinate your own bike transporation back to Irvine, if you are on a later train. If you cannot make the bike pick up time in Irvine at 4:15 PM, please contact the organizer at 949-510-5306.
Q: What is the refund policy?
All registration funds go directly to the 501(c)(3) charity and therefore no refunds can be provided.
