Join Saint Louis University Special Collections staff to learn the basics of trough marbling, a technique used in paper decoration since the sixteenth century. Participants in the hour-long session will view early examples of marbling from the Rare Books collection, learn about the history of popular marbled designs and the techniques used to make them, and produce their own marbled papers.
