About this event

Join us in painting a mural through employee volunteering with Portland Means Progress businesses. The mural project will feature art by local Black artists and will include DEI training with a local racial equity practitioner, Emmanuel Williams.

At this event, we will partner with Rocsys and Cleo and Kayin Davis to create beautiful art and engage in storytelling and racial equity training. There will be food, community building, and engagement - together we can transform Portland! Employees at Portland Means Progress businesses are invited to join us!

Please wear clothing you are comfortable painting in!

Portland Means Progress is a city-wide initiative that began with early adopter businesses in March 2019, providing connections for businesses to hire local underrepresented students, purchase from businesses owned by people of color and create diverse and vibrant workforce and company cultures. The goal is to connect businesses to existing programming that supports social impact, creating a pipeline for private-sector engagement.
