Frequently asked questions

Can I bring a guest?

Yes, of course! Please purchase an additional ticket.

Any discounts?

The earlier you purchase your tickets, the better the deal. Buying earlier also gives the Reunion Committee funds for down payments and to ensure a fabulous time is had by all!

How will I know I'm in the right place?

As you get close to the event site look for signs/balloons off SR 522 and follow to clubhouse. Parking is outside the community in gravel parking lot on right. Guests walk down a slight hill to the clubhouse.

What if I come by Uber?

No problem (and great planning!) Those needing to be dropped off at Lodge will be let in gate by parking attendant.

Is the Clubhouse ADA accessible?

Yes, it is ADA compliant, including ADA bathroom. Access to lake side of the clubhouse is on the sides of the clubhouse due to steps on the lakeside. Definitely wheelchair accessible.

Ax Throwing???

You bet! Totem Ax Throwing is near parking lot at a neighbor’s not at the clubhouse. Please follow directional signs once you’ve parked.

Totem Classmate Bingo?

Totem Classmate Bingo will be from 4:30-6. Bingo cards available at check-in. The object? Find fellow classmates who meet fun fact on the Bingo card. We are trying to encourage easy ways to engage with others in our class beyond the closer friends from high school. Prizes will be awarded.

What else will be happening?

Poker tables will be set up for self-run poker games. Chips and cards will be available. We'll also have a photo booth - watch for updates!

Any plans for a group photo?

We'll be taking a group photo in front of the beautiful fireplace inside the clubhouse at 5:45 pm. Be there!

Can I BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle)?

No outside alcohol is allowed per clubhouse rental agreement. We'll have beer and wine available for purchase - either through buying the drink package or individually on the night of the event.

Smoking?

Don't you know that will stunt your growth? But, if you must, smoking is allowed in the outdoor designated area, per clubhouse rules.

What's for dinner?

It's a luau! The menu (subject to charge) includes: King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, Auntie Mama's Mac Salad, Island Slaw with House Honey Miso, Slow Smoked Kalua Pork, Fire Grilled BBQ Loli Loli Chicken, Pineapple Fried Rice, Stir-Fried Vegetable Yakisoba Noodles, Pineapple Upside Down Cake. ONO!

What if I have special dietary needs?

Any dietary restrictions (Vegan/Vegetarian/Gluten-Free) must be communicated to the organizers by July 1, 2024. You can send an email to Sammamishreunion74@gmail.com or include the information when you purchase your ticket via EventBrite.

Let's say I've had a little TOO MUCH fun. Would it be okay to leave my car and Uber home?

ABSOLUTELY! Feel free to leave your car overnight in the gravel parking lot. Please plan to pick up your vehicle no later than Sunday, August 4 by noon.

Need volunteers? I'd love to help!

Additional day-of-the event volunteers are needed to help with set-up/break-down, signage, decorations, check-in at the beginning of the event. Interested? Send us an email to Sammamishreunion74@gmail.com

Looking for anything else?

We're still looking for phenomenal and affordable (due to limited budget) photographer and a DJ, as well as table linens and miscellaneous other items. If you have leads, wish to sponsor some component of the event or have other ideas, we'd love to hear them. Email us a Samammishreunion74@gmail.com

I'm coming from out of town. Any suggestions?

The closest RV Parking is in Bothell. Visit https://www.lakepleasantrv.com/ Looking for a hotel room? We have a block of rooms at a special rate (good through 5/1/24) at the Hampton Inn & Suites-Seattle Woodinville WA (hilton.com). Visit https://bit.ly/HamptonSHS1974 for the best rate

I have an idea! How about a party bus from Sammamish to the venue?

Great minds think alike! If you're interest, send a message to sammamishreunion74@gmail.com. If there's enough interest, we'll try to make this happen for an added cost.
