Meagan is originally from The Northwest Florida region, where she was first introduced to the Deaf and Interpreting Community at the age of 15. Meagan attended Troy University’s Interpreter Training Program and graduated in 2014, she relocated to NYC in 2016. She has served on the Metro RID Board the last 2 years as a Director at large and has helped organize the New York City Metro RID Happy Hours. Meagan is also currently in Grad School for Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Gallaudet University. Meagan enjoys meeting as many members of the community as she can, attending events, and learning something new every day. She currently resides in New Jersey with her Husband and dog, Theodore.
