About this event

There is no better way to celebrate the enduring joys of the Beatles’ White Album than to see this classic album complete, live on stage! Upon its release in November, 1968, Rolling Stone called it "the history and synthesis of Western music", the NME said "God Bless You, Beatles!” In The Observer, Tony Palmer wrote that "if there is still any doubt that Lennon and McCartney are the greatest songwriters since Schubert", the album "should surely see the last vestiges of cultural snobbery and bourgeois prejudice swept away in a deluge of joyful music making". When a remastered version was released in 2009, the London Daily Telegraph reflected the prevailing sentiment, calling it "one of the greatest albums ever made".

Our cast…

TAL BACHMAN is the Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose international smash hit “She’s So High” spent a spectacular 28 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1999. The Juno award winner joins us on a break from dates with Bachman-Turner Overdrive, led by his father Randy. Tal and Randy co-host “Musical Mystery Tour” on SiriusXM’s Beatles Channel.

L AURENCE JUBER is the former lead guitarist from Paul McCartney and Wings. A two-time Grammy Ward winner, his sublime work is recognized by Guitar World for “A stunning sense of space and fluidity…a truly wondrous sound" . Pete Townshend has called him "A Master!", Guitar Players chimes in that "The melodies, textures and harmonies he coaxes out of an acoustic guitar are spellbinding" and Acoustic Guitar magazine named his "LJ Plays the Beatles " album one of their ten best of all time. He has over thirty solo albums to his credit, three years with Wings, and work on soundtracks as varied as "Dirty Dancing", "Pocahontas" and "Good Will Hunting".“

ALBERT LEE spent 25 years as the lead guitarist and Musical Director for the Everly Brothers.

Albert Lee began his career as a touring musician in the early sixties, and soon catapulted onto the stage with the likes of Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, and Emmylou Harris. His quarter-century run as Music Director of his beloved Everly Brothers coincided with studio and stage work with Vince Gill, Roseanne Cash, and also Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr ("The Concert for George"). Even with all this, he found the time for over 10 solo and band albums under his own monniker. His numerous studio sessions have led to 4 Grammy Awards nominations and two awards.

Guitarist and Vocalist STEVE COOKE brings his powerhouse British Rock sensibility-a direct descendent of classic acts like Free and Mott the Hoople-to bear on Beatles classics in a return after rocking MMT and Let It Bleed with us in March. Before making The U.S. his home, he worked frequently in the UK alongside touring members of Brand X, Pink Floyd, and Fleetwood Mac, and starred in the cast of the Who's Tommy at the Apollo Theatre in Reading. His songs "Live For the Moment", "California Girls Like to RnR" and "Change is Gonna Come" have rocketed his profile, as have his appearances as Paul McCartney's guitarist on Rob Schneider's Netflix series "Real Rob".

Our Musical Director BILL CINQUE toured for 5 years as bass player in the Neil Diamond Band. The Manfreds (ie Manfred Mann), Melissa Manchester, Peter Asher, and a host of others have featured Bill on lead vocals as well as bass.

Keyboardist STEVE BAUMAN was our MD for Magical Mystery Tour and Let It Bleed and among his endless credits his credits working in the studio, performing and touring with artists such as Teena Marie, Chaka Khan, Thomas Dolby and Michael McDonald. He began working on music for Film/TV around 2000 and assisted on scores by Stanley Clarke, James Newton-Howard, and Danny Elfman, as well as scoring and writing songs for films like Old School, Ice Princess and Deadpool.

Drummer CHRISTOPHER ALLIS toured Mike Nesmith's First National Band, and has backed Deana Carter, Denny Laine, Billy J Kramer, Melissa Manchester, Maria Muldaur, Kate Taylor, Jeremy Clyde, The Byrds' John York, and Fran Healy from Travis among others.

Guitarist David Blasucci ‘s gig credits include Bobby Kimball (TOTO), Melissa Manchester, Bo Didley, Badfinger, Little Anthony and countless others. Rod Stewart, Hootie and the Blowfish and the Eagles’ Glenn Frey are among those who have called on David to open for them.
