Featured Readers: Richie Hofmann, Amanda Merpaw, & Nicole Tallman

Richie Hofmann is the author of two books of poems, A Hundred Lovers (Alfred A. Knopf, 2022) and Second Empire (Alice James Books, 2015). His poetry appears recently in The Paris Review, The New Yorker, Poetry, and The Yale Review, and has been honored with the Ruth Lilly and Wallace Stegner fellowships. He teaches at the University of Chicago.


Amanda Merpaw (she/her) is a writer, editor, and educator. She is the author of the collection Most of All the Wanting and the chapbook Put the Ghosts Down Between Us. Her poetry, playwriting, and nonfiction have appeared in Arc Poetry Magazine, CV2, The Literary Review of Canada, Plenitude, with Playwrights Canada Press, and elsewhere. Amanda was a finalist for Arc Poetry Magazine’s 2022 Poem of the Year contest. She is currently a contributing editor at Arc Poetry Magazine and a member of the editorial board at Anstruther Press.

Nicole Tallman is the author of three collections: Something Kindred, Poems for the
People, and FERSACE. She serves as Miami’s official Poetry Ambassador, Editor of
Redacted Books, and Poetry and Interviews Editor for The Blue Mountain Review and South Florida Poetry Journal. She is also the creator and host of ELJ Editions/Redacted Books' Be Well Reading Series. Find her on social media @natallman and at nicoletallman.com.
