About this event

The Athletic Mind Walk to Run Club

Come join us every week for a fun and energizing stretch and walk around Lake Merritt. We will start at the beautiful Camron-Stanford House, the last Victorian house on the lake. Enjoy the scenic views along the lake as you challenge yourself and push your limits.

Every week, we'll be stretching in the gardens at Camron-Stanford House and making our way around the 3.4 miles of Lake Merritt.

Let's sweat, laugh, and inspire each other to reach new goals together.

This event is free and open to the public. There will be light refreshments provided. Donations to The Athletic Mind are accepted on-site via Venmo/Cash App/Zelle/Cash.

The Camron-Stanford House is the last of the beautiful 19th century mansions that once surrounded Lake Merritt and was the home to five influential families before becoming the first museum in the City of Oakland.

The restored home helps visitors time travel to the 1880s and enter meticulously recreated living spaces. In addition, the house presents various exhibits throughout the year that focus on aspects of Victorian life and culture.
