Cake Decorating Workshop with Cucina Melissa

Club Argaux presents a Cake Decorating Workshop partnered with Melissa Nortion of Cucina Melissa, an Italian trained Chef who has studied all across Italy to share her lessons on the importance of fresh ingredients and slow food with you.

Everything she makes is handmade. Committed to blending artistry, nature, flowers, and seasonal ingredients, Melissa will be demonstrating her expert tips and tricks on decorating olive oil cakes with seasonal produce and flowers.

Of course, there will also be wine and aperitivo snacks! A unique selection of Italian wines from Argaux will be thoughtfully paired alongside the cake decorating experience.

Guests will have the hands-on opportunity to learn:

  • How to top an olive oil cake with fluffy frosting
  • A brief history of olive oil cakes / flavors / baking
  • Color theory in decorating cakes
  • Playing with different produce, flowers, and herbs to create an edible unique creation
  • Using your own unique vision to make your cake pop
  • Sourcing and styling

You'll also be taking home your own decorated olive oil cake! Additional curated items will be available for sale.

This in-person event will take place at Argaux HQ in Costa Mesa, CA, USA.
