Examine different world views and how the way a map is designed can inform and influence opinions about different countries and cultures. Look at areas of interest on google earth, like the Panama Canal, Persian Gulf, Hawaii, and the islands near, Catalina, and far, New Zealand. We will also be making maps of both real places as well as a Treasure Map project at the end.
