The Story...
The Claydon Classic Golf Tournament had its modest start many years back as a gathering for family and friends on the 4th of July morning to play golf, don jean shorts, and enjoy quality time together under the summer sun. The relaxed atmosphere, easygoing vibe, and stylish attire began attracting more participants, leading to the expansion of the Claydon Classic group and legend.
However, in May 2019, a tragedy struck our family with the sudden loss of my younger brother, Ben, at the age of 24. Ben was known for his caring nature, authenticity, and cheerful spirit. We honor Ben's memory at the Claydon Classic every year, playing in his honor and carrying on his joyful and loving legacy. Save the date and join me and Educators of America on Saturday, July 20th for the Annual Claydon Classic Golf Tournament at Rothland Golf Course in Akron, NY, starting at 9 AM. Your participation not only promises a memorable time with loved ones but also supports Educators of America, Inc., an organization dedicated to enhancing education in Western New York and beyond. If you can't make it on July 20th, please consider sponsoring, contributing an in-kind donation, or sending a donation to Educators of America, Inc.

Tournament Fee includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, pre-tournament driving range, a welcome kit (koozie, towel, and divot tool), lunch at the turn, and dinner. Also, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on the course. And good times.
They certainly aren't. However, we do have a prize for the best dressed foursome.
