You're invited to join a conversation and envision the future of DC.  Through a series of 3 events, panelists will discuss the intersections between design, technology, and policy and how these shape DC.
Part happy hour, part networking event, part panel discussion, you will hear from industry experts whose ideas are changing the urban fabric of the District. Appetizers and drinks provided.  All events 5:30-8:00 pm

PANELISTS: Oliver Carr Carr Properties, Chief Executive Officer
Oliver T. Carr, III is the founder, Chief Executive Officer, and a member of Carr Properties' Board of Directors. Mr. Carr is responsible for leading all investment activity at Carr Properties in addition to serving as their CEO. Carr Properties is a privately held office REIT which owns a portfolio of high quality, urban office properties in the Washington DC metro market.
 Heather Nevin Gensler, Regional Technology Practice Area leader
As a leader of Gensler's Southeast Regional Technology Practice Area, Heather focuses on emerging trends and design drivers that impact business strategy, design philosophy and culture creation with leading edge technology and creative class clients. Heather believes in the power of design to change the way organizations think about themselves and strengthen our connections to one another.
 Carl Pierre Eaton House, Director
Carl Pierre has his roots set in DC Tech and the Washington-area startup scene for the past 6 years. He was one of the founding members of InTheCapital which solely focused on startup-related news, led expansion for the DMV region’s largest network of coworking spaces as WeWork’s City Lead, and now the director of a soon-to-launch social space dedicated to the city’s creative economy on 12th and K St NW. When he’s not working with small businesses or startups, Carl is writing on his D.C.-focused mens fashion blog, Buck & Breck.
 MODERATOR: Janet Pogue Gensler, Principal
Janet is one of Gensler's key thought leaders on the subject of workplace strategy. Her entire career has focused on how design can boost performance, innovation, and wellbeing in the workplace. She has been instrumental in the research underlying Gensler's 2008 and 2013 Workplace Surveys and in the development of Gensler's Workplace Performance Index® tool, which measures workplace effectiveness.
