About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

You are invited to attend The Alexander House - Benefit Dinner in San Antonio, Texas on Friday, August 9, 2024.

Our guest speaker, Father Dan Reehil - Father Daniel Reehil was born on Mineola, NY on August 4, 1965, to parents Dan and Gladys; he is the oldest of four children. His father was a NYC Fire Chief and his mother was a court reporter after the children were in school. After graduating college from the University of Dayton, he worked in Global Trade and Finance in Manhattan for American Express and Citicorp for ten years, and then three years as the Sales Director of a Corporate Communications PR Firm.

In 1998 Fr. Reehil made a pilgrimage to the village of Medjugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This was a life altering trip upon which he experienced a miraculous conversion after being away from the church for twenty years. This is where the seeds of his vocation to the priesthood were planted when the priest who heard his twenty-year confession told him that he believed he had a vocation to the priesthood. Father began reflecting on the emptiness of his life and praying for God to lead him.

Upon his ordination on July 26, 2014, Fr. Reehil was assigned to St. Edward Parish as the Parochial Vicar; two year later he was elevated to Pastor of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Columbia, TN.

The Alexander House continues to serve marriages and relationships in crisis on a daily basis and because of their model of showing love, support, and education, 95 percent of the couples seen, remain together. PRAISE GOD!

This fundraiser will benefit The Alexander House as they continue to support all marriages and relationships.

All the services provided to couples by The Alexander House are at NO COST to the participant. Unfortunately, operating The Alexander House is not free. This is why we need your generous support.
