About this event

Do you really know what an IEP and 504 are or the difference? Do you know the power you possess to advocate for your clients? The ABCs of IEPs and 504s event will allow participants to distinguish the key differences between an IEP and a 504. Clinicians will be able to discuss the different roles each professional plays in both meetings to better advocate for their clients' needs. By the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to examine key parts of an IEP and 504 to more confidently participate in IEP and 504 meetings.

  • Distinguish the key differences between the two
  • Discuss the different roles each professional plays at either meeting
  • Examine key parts of an IEP and 504

What entrance to the building do I use for the event?

There will be signs outside directing you to the correct entrance. The event will be held on the bottom floor training room of EMERGE. You will enter in the side door of the building (to the right of the parking lot, facing the building) by the concrete staircase.

What is the Refund Policy?

Your ticket may only be used for this event.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

The name on the ticket needs to match the name of the person attending the event. If you plan to buy a ticket for someone else, make sure to register with the name and email of the person planning to attend the event.

How do I receive CE credit for this workshop?

After the workshop you will receive an online evaluation. Once your evaluation is submitted electronically, you will be emailed a copy of your workshop certificate.
