Black Women’s Empowerment Weekend is the highly-anticipated two-day event that holistically caters to the experiences of everyday Black women and girls on day one with impactful breakout sessions, dynamic entertainment, and a powerful keynote at the Black Women’s Empowerment Summit. And day two, the Black Women’s Empowerment Brunch, our signature fundraiser, honors the contributions of three extraordinary Black women for their contributions in politics, business, and cultural spheres while keeping attendees on the edge of their seats from our powerful mission moments, explosive entertainment and influential host.

THE EQUITY ALLIANCE Based in Nashville, TN, with alliances in Memphis and Chattanooga, The Equity Alliance (TEA) is a statewide grassroots c3 organization that provides Black people in Tennessee the space and autonomy to choose the quality of life they want. We meet Black voters where they are to equip them with tools and strategies to fully participate in civic processes and champion solutions to issues that affect their daily lives. We believe those impacted by the issues have the best solutions, so we resist, persist, assemble, and, most importantly, vote.
